Configure Slack

Connect Slack

Open Dashboard -> Integrations, choose Slack, and authorize Harlo in the workspace where lead notifications should be posted.

Add the channel ID

Open Configure and paste the destination channel ID. Public channel IDs usually start with C; private channel IDs may start with G.

Invite Harlo to the channel

In Slack, open the destination channel and type /invite @Harlo so the app can post there.

Choose agents and test

Enable Slack for the agents that should notify the team, then complete a lead capture test from the website widget.

Troubleshooting

Common fixes

Slack says channel not found

Confirm the channel ID is correct and that Harlo was invited to the channel.

Private channel does not work

Invite Harlo to the private channel before saving or testing the notification.

Wrong team gets alerts

Use different agents or channel IDs for sales, support, and operations workflows.
